250 Tons Automatic Wheelset Assembly Cell Assembly Line

Application scope:
This Automatic Wheelset Assembly Cell assembly line is used to the automatic assembly of the wheelsets (wheels and brake disc) of the railway rolling stocks. The assembly cell is applicable for standarg gauge, narrow gauge, meter gauge and board gauge.

The Wheelset Assembly Cell consists of:

• 1 set of automatic wheelset press with pressing force of 250 tons
• 1 set of wheelset pre-assembly stand
• 1 set of Wheel conveyor line
• 1 set of Axle conveyor line

Performance Features of the Wheelset Press:

• Automatically mount the 2 wheels on the same axle simultanously without turning the axle and in a sequence first the wheel at one side of the axle then the wheel at the other side
• Automatically control the inner distance and wheel position tolerance.
• Adopt Siemens S7-300 PLC and AdvanTech Industrial computer to control and achieve the fully automatic pressing operation.
• Both automatic and manual mode are available for option.
• The wheelset press can track and control the whole process, detect the pressing condition of the
  wheelset, and analyze and process it through industrial computer. It can export the pressure vs displacement curve and other results onto the screen and printer.
• The measurement unit will automatically detect and collect the relevant data and display it on the screen.
• Automatic recording of mounting curve, radial and axial run-out and back pressure test of each mounted component;
• Overall gantry frame structure, with high strength, good rigidity and less deformation.
• Movable resistant column.
• Double ram cylinder pressing.
• Unique Invention patented cylindrical ram for wheel mounting, with high pressing accuracy.
• Special patented centring mechanisms for center hole positioning.
• Standard roll-in or pass-through design.
