500 Tons Single Cylinder Horizontal Wheel Dismount Press Top-opening design, Wheel Press-Mounting Machine

Application Scope:
The wheel dismount press machine is applicable for the dismounting of railway wheelsets and other workpieces. The movable column is of top-opening design. It's not only suitable for railway applications, also mining and steel industry etc.

Main Structure & Features:

The wheel dismount press is mainly composed of machine frame, ram cylinder, movable column, caliper mechanism, support trolley, hydraulic system, electrical control system and tooling etc.

• Machine frame: It's composed of chassis, cylinder column, rear column and support columns. Cylinder column and resistance column are combined together via two support rods to form a force frame. The rear column is only to support these two support rods.
• Ram cylinder: The ram cylinder is installed in the cylinder column. It’s consisted of cylinder, piston rod, piston, bottom cover, sealing element and guide mechanism. The guide mechanism will prevent the piston rod from rotating in motion. It’s composed of connecting plate, guide rod and guide sleeve etc.
• Movable column: It is driven by the reducer motor to move on the chassis.
• Caliper mechanism: Caliper mechanism is installed on movable column and can be opened and closed manually. When it’s opened, the movable column can be moved along the support rods. When it’s closed, the movable column will be locked at the position and form a whole with the support rods.
• The machine frame is carried out overall annealing and stress relieving, and has sufficient rigidity and strength to meet the requirements.
